Collection: Maria M. Rojas Díaz

Mariana M. Rojas Díaz (Coamo, Puerto Rico, 2004) is a visual artist whose work centers on the exploration of female sexuality and eroticism within contemporary cultural discourse. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts from the University of the Sacred Heart, with minors in Creative Writing and Art Business.

She has collaborated on various visual design and production projects, including promotional posters for Semana del Teatro, the play Paz Perpetua, and the commemorative postcard celebrating the institution’s 145th anniversary. She has also expanded her professional development through certifications from Quinta Orden in portfolio development, proposal writing, finance, self-management, and cultural marketing strategy.

Mariana is the founder of M.M Erotic, an artistic project that seeks to normalize female sexuality through the creation of a new visual language surrounding eroticism and contemporary cultural contribution. Her work draws inspiration from Surrealism, Symbolism, and Art Nouveau, integrating these influences to conceptualize female intimacy through an innovative and critical lens.

Working across multiple mediums including painting, drawing, printmaking, silkscreen, and digital media, her practice invites viewers to question and reinterpret cultural perceptions of the female body and desire, challenging taboos while proposing new visual narratives.

Among her recent exhibitions are Barrio Adentro, presented at MADMi and Café Quinta Orden in San Juan, and La Memoria Peregrina at Lineal Art Space.

She currently works as an independent visual artist, continuing to develop both her artistic practice and her brand M.M. Erotic, while remaining an active member of Quinta Orden.
