Collection: Celestino Ortiz Nieves
Born in Santurce, Puerto Rico (1964), Celestino is a visual artist, educator, museologist, and broadcaster. With a Master’s in Museology from Universidad del Caribe and studies under renowned Puerto Rican artists such as Rafael Rivera Rosa, Freddie Mercado, and Noemí Ruiz, his work explores Caribbean identity through color and theme.
He has served as President of the Puerto Rican Association of Visual Artists (2021–2023), affiliated with AIAP–UNESCO, and currently leads the National Committee of RELAC. His artwork has been showcased both locally and internationally in the U.S, Spain, France, Italy, and Brazil.
